This 6 nights, 7 days immersion is meant to reconnect us to water; at the shoreline of one of the deepest Gulfs in the world, Pavones is a miracle in itself.
For surfers, it is the second longest left in the world - for everyone else, it is a paradise of tropical beauty and uncountable bird varieties.
Come experience the magic of this healing place with Chloé, who lived here for 5 years and brought Carlos for his first time last year. Beyond the beauty, it is the community, abundance of biodiversity, and majesty of the place that takes all hearts away.
On lucky days, we can hear whales singing underwater - blue butterflies dancing around, toucans serenading us, guacamayos flying everywhere... You must see it to believe it!

What to expect
- Transportation from the local airport (Golfito) to Yemanja retreat center.

Communing with Cacao
Cacao helps to slow down our minds and open us up to remember our magic. Drinking cacao before communing with nature can be deeply transformative. It helps us to reconnect with our roots as human beings and develop a deeper connection to the natural world. In this immersion you will dive deep into nature and find the gold in slowing down.
Sanctuary Space
You will be staying at Yemanja, a 5-acre beachfront tropical permaculture sanctuary, walking distance from our favourite wave in the world. There are two tree houses available and two rooms in the main house on this breathtakingly beautiful property surrounded by fruit trees, animals and the peace and beauty of nature. During this Immersion we have created spaciousness for personal time on the property to explore, meditate, journal, nap and soak up the beauty of this land. We will spend time on the land sharing meals, learning from its wisdom & playing music. No matter where you spend your time here, you will surely experience the healing energy of this land.

I highly recommend jumping right in to this experience - you won’t regret it. Carlos and his team will make sure that you are taken care of in every way - in mind, body, and spirit. The campus where we stayed was beautiful and serene, filled with an abundance of fruit trees and open spaces to play or reflect. The cacao ceremonies put all of us in the mood to open our hearts to Mama Kauai and to each other. The food - from the daily green coconuts to the oranges we picked to the greens and herbs that accompanied our home-cooked dinners - came from the land and from nearby farms. Campus is the kind of place where you can recharge - but also launch into play and adventure on the island, knowing that everywhere you go, you will witness more magic in nature than you could ever imagine. Everything just flowed in the most organic way, there was never any question about what the plan was for the day - but there is also so much freedom and flexibility to choose the activities that are right for you, whether you want to physically challenge yourself or stay still and go inward - all are available.

Guest Cancellation Policy
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their immersion, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation to avoid any unnecessary inconveniences.
If you cancel your trip 30 days or more prior to your departure date
We will refund the full cost of your trip with the exception of your deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, but can be used as credit for another immersion. We will gladly transfer your credit to another guest as well.
If you cancel your trip less than 30 days before your departure date
We will refund 50% of your trip. The 50% credit can be used for another immersion, or we can gladly transfer your credit to another guest as well.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made outside of medical conditions.. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early.
